《Company Background》

Micro-Flexitronics was established in the Thames Valley in 1996. The company spent the first two years examining the various processes involved in the manufacturing of strain gages; the most appropriate raw materials to be utilized and the sourcing and commissioning of custom built production equipment capable of meeting exacting demands.

In 1998, MFL established a manufacturing site in Northern Ireland where all production orders for strain gauges and related products are processed. Between Stephen Bexx, Sean Dobbins and Des Smith, the company brings together some of the UK’s most experienced and skilled strain gauge personnel.

MFL has the flexibility of being able to produce standard and non-standard products in a cost effective manner on short lead-time. This enables MFL to offer next day delivery on most of its standard products and one week delivery on customized designs.

By utilizing the latest computer aided design software and by manufacturing in-house, MFL can react quickly to customer's requests for quality products on reduced lead-time. Why not put us to the test!

《Customized Strain Gauge Design Service》

MFL offers a strain gauge design service applicable to both high and low volume users. Whether you are a large load cell manufacturer or a one man operation, MFL have a cost-effective way of turning your ideal strain gauge design into a finished product. No longer do you have to "make do" with standard product.

MFL can convert even a rough sketch on a fax or an email attachment into a production strain gauge within one week depending on design complexity. Once the final artwork has been created, MFL can dispatch finished strain gauges on the same day to be for customers' evaluation.

《Strain Gauge Bonding Service》

In addition to strain gage design and production, MFL offers a strain gage bonding service, thus providing a "one stop solution" to all customers' strain gage needs. MFL is able to meet the individual requirements of customers whether it is for prototype samples, small batch production or high volume production runs.

Our experienced strain gage technicians are flexible enough to work on free-issue products in-house or on-site depending on the customer's requirements. In addition, technicians can be supplied on a subcontract basis for unlimited time periods.

MFL offers a comprehensive range of both temperature compensation and bridge balance resistors, bondable terminal pads and custom designed flexible circuits. By utilizing our extensive knowledge and appropriate technology, MFL can produce other electronic components such as Heater Elements; electrodes with temperature sensing capabilities and single/double sided bondable terminal boards.
